Converga first in Australia to achieve Gold partner status with the DECCW
Converga’s Environmental Sustainability & Community Program (ESCP) team are pleased to announce that Converga has successfully achieved Gold Partner Status with the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change & Water’s (DECCW) Sustainability Advantage Program. Further to this, Converga is the first company in Australia to do so (we were also first to achieve Bronze and Silver levels).
Each level within DECCW’s Sustainability Advantage Program needs to show significant improvement from the last level – these improvements are shown in key areas across the organisation:
- Active Participation (regular reporting and progress tracking)
- Leadership and Commitment
- Planning and Management Systems
- Greenhouse Gas Inventory reporting and improvements to environmental footprint
- Engagement – team members, clients, suppliers, shareholders
There are 518 companies participating in the Program and Converga is leading the pack! Well done to all that were involved in the application, this is a great achievement for Converga.
