Converga’s Essential Mail Services encompass data pre–processing, formatting, printing, folding, inserting and despatching of customer direct and essential addressed mail (e.g. invoices & statements), document archiving and retrieval services.
High Speed Laser Printing
Our ‘one colour’ print and mail platform technology ensures reliable high speed productivity and exceptional image quality. We use high speed laser printers specifically engineered to deliver a complete and professional print production solution for both document and convergence printing.
Our high quality printers can quickly and easily handle complex documents requiring tabs, mixed-stock, colour inserts and variable data printing.
Full Colour Digital Print
The advent of next generation full colour digital printing provides real savings for our clients, as well as enhancing the effectiveness of your mail outs. There is no waste, no storage and no transport costs associated with our ‘full colour digital print’. This technology has made full colour printing an attractive alternative to traditional offset and laser printing and has proven to be far more effective than the historical method of black offset printing and brochure inserting.
Fold & Insert Machine
Our technology centres are equipped with modern, state of art intelligent mail folding and inserting machines with capacity to handle varied types of folding and inserting.
- Folds and inserts multiple and variable page mail documents
- Reads optical mark recognition (OMR) codes
- Inserts up to 6 pages per envelope
- Seals the envelope
- Counts the number of envelopes processed for checks and balances
- Has up to 6 insert stations for additional and selective inserts for fliers and leaflets
- Suitable for DL, DLE, Maxpop and C5 window envelopes
- Processes 6000 - 8000 envelopes per hour
Data Transfer
Converga works at all times to ensure our client’s data is protected both in transfer and delivery. We use standard sets of tools, services for file transfer from third parties, including encrypted FTP and encrypted HTTPS file uploads to secure the file zones. All third party connections are managed via firewalls that are monitored 24 x 7 in a secure monitored zone. Username and password controls are in place. The IP addresses on both ends of the connection are shared for added security.
Development
Converga can develop a print and mail application for your organisation tailored to your specific business requirements. While not all jobs require this, Converga will provide a business analyst to determine the most optimal results when these complex requests arise, ensuring you receive quality output in the most cost effective way.
Contingency Plan
A Contingency Plan is in place and for complete peace of mind we operate identical machines at our various Converga Technology Centres; ensuring the continuity of the business process is always maintained.
