Converga recently made a donation to the Victor Chang - Cardiac Research Institute and Baker IDI - Heart and Diabetes Institute in order to raise awareness about Cardiac Arrhythmias via Steve Quinn’s (Paceline) 1030km bike ride from Melbourne to Sydney. Steve and his team’s goals are to promote awareness of the condition, raise funds for research, make reliable information available to patients and their families, and forge links with similar groups in other countries.
Cardiac Arrhythmia (also Dysrhythmia) is a term for any of a large and varied group of conditions in which there is abnormal electrical activity in the heart. The heart beat may be too fast or too slow, and may be regular or irregular.
