Converga's senior consultant, Andrew Warland, provides regular insights into contemporary records and information management issues through articles and presentations. Andrew has spent almost 30 years working in the field of information management, and helping organisations improve the way they manage their information assets. He has advised major Australian and global firms, Australian and New Zealand Government agencies, and small boutique sized companies to improve their information management processes and practices.
Andrew is a member of the International Standards Sub-committee IT-021-11: Integration of Digitisation (the aim of which is to set standards for the digitisation of records), a member of the Records Management Association of Australasia (RMAA), a regular speaker at conferences, industry meetings and related events on information and records management issues, an active contributor to international information and records management forums, and the author of many published articles including for Image and Data Manager (IDM) and Informaa Quarterly (IQ – the RMAA’s magazine).
