Converga has developed a comprehensive and industry-leading set of processes to improve the efficiency and cost associated with operating the mail function for an organisation. The processes for receiving, sorting and distribution of physical mail vary to accommodate the individual needs, culture and core business activity of each client. In all cases, Converga captures transaction volumes and monitors all processes and issues for performance reporting against agreed service levels and business trends.

Converga is not aligned to any particular supplier nor are we a subsidiary of a “parent supplier” of mailroom services or mail products (consumables) in Australia. Therefore we are free to act in the best interest of our clients at all times, without compromise or conflict of interest. This is particularly relevant and beneficial in the management of consumption of third party services (e.g. postal and courier in particular) to ensure preferred suppliers, correct services and best rates are adopted.

Clients for whom we have taken over management of their couriers and mail consumable spend have typically enjoyed a cost reduction of 25 - 30% per year over their usual spend. It is a simple fact that a provider of courier services or mail products will always be in conflict of interest if they also provide the core mailroom services. It is simply not in their interest to see mail consumable or courier services spend optimised or reduced to the extent that an impartial, rigorous prime contractor such as Converga is able to deliver.
